As the Technical Director for "Die Rettung," an immersive virtual reality experience, Fabrizio Palmas played a crucial role in the project's success. "Die Rettung" allows users to experience a realistic alpine rescue mission, immersing them in a world of dizzying heights and treacherous landscapes. The project was a groundbreaking endeavor, utilizing the first commercial standalone VR headset to enable six degrees of freedom and provide an unparalleled user experience. Despite facing several technical challenges, the team's combined creativity and technical expertise helped to create an immersive and engaging experience for users. The project's innovation and success were recognized when it won the New Realities Award in 2020.
